Naturally gluten free, these flourless peanut butter cookies make the perfect anytime snack. If you’re a peanut butter lover, you definitely need these soft, rich chewy cookies in your life. They will satisfy any sweet tooth and have a life span of about five minutes! Plain, with semi sweet chocolate chunks or dipped!

HOLIDAY COOKIES

Every time I have expanded my menu it has been due to my amazing customers’ requests.  I cannot say enough how successful these suggestions have been – blueberry, lemon & pumpkin scones, followed by a mini version of said scones; coffee cake followed by a mini version of said coffee cake, also known as mini bundts; and, most recently, gluten free cinnamon chip and pumpkin scones, followed by gluten free oversized peanut butter cookies. Well, I guess I am not done with my expansion.  The latest request has been for Christmas Cookies!

Chewy Butterscotch…soft, chewy and bursting with butterscotch flavor these cookies are topped with melted white chocolate which makes the perfect butterscotch complement.

Lemon Glazed Shortbread….. You’ll love the fresh burst of lemon flavor in these buttery tender shortbread cookies. And, if that’s not enough to tempt your taste buds, they get dipped in a tart, lemony glaze. These are seriously addicting.

Snickerdoodle Sandwich…your classic snickerdoodle, rolled in cinnamon and sugar, but sandwiched between white chocolate frosting.  Ordinary snickerdoodles won’t cut it once you’ve tried these.

Peanut Butter Dipped…. a crisp crunch with a smooth peanut butter flavor when you bite in followed by the magnificent combination of semi-sweet chocolate. These will have a life span of about five minutes!

PAY IT FORWARD

For those of you who may not have read “My Story” on this website or on my Facebook Page, I wanted to share an excerpt from it…..

My goal for Broken Tastes the Same is to continue to grow to the point that with every order I receive I would be able to provide each customer with a “pay it forward” goodie that they could give to someone they know who is having a hard day, struggling with loss or who just needs to know someone is thinking about them. Hopefully someday soon I will get to that point! Throughout my life I have used cooking and baking as a means to show support for my family, friends and acquaintances when I noticed a struggle. I’d love to widen the circle.

In this spirit, I have now begun gifting a small bag to each customer with their order. This “gift” is to be given to someone as a randon act of kindness – please help me pay it forward.
